Naked Mountain Vineyard Wine Tasting

Naked Mountain Vineyard offers a wonderful selection of varietals with unique blends in the rustic tasting room. It will only cost you $10 a piece for a wine tasting. You will enjoy a special pick of wines in the barrel room if you are traveling with a group of eight or more. When selecting your wines, you can choose from a range of reds and whites. The award-winning 2012 Petit Verdot is a favorite. If you’re looking for something sweet, try the 2014 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay with hints of Granny Smith apples and a creamy finish. Or, enjoy the 2014 Petit Manseng with tropical fruit and the 2014 Chardonnay/Riesling with aromas of peaches and flavors of apple and apricot.

Cherry and strawberry join in an earthy tone with the 2014 Catamount Run Red. Some of the Naked Mountain Vineyard more lighthearted wines include the 2014 Birthday Suit. There is also the Make Me Blush with hints of strawberry and vanilla and the Skinny Dipper featuring a tropical breeze. The 2014 Old Vine Riesling pairs well with a cobbler or apple crisp, and the port-style Soar III has hints of plum and cherry. Or, you can get spicy with the 2013 Cabernet Franc.
