Comprised of 100-acres, Veramar Vineyard subscribes to the philosophy that “balanced vines make the best wine.” Their vineyards are planted to a series of east-facing hillsides. This protects the vines from the hot afternoon sun and promotes the retention of volatile aromatic compounds in the fruit. The winery is open year-round and offers tours and tastings from noon until 5 p.m. (7 p.m. on Saturdays).
